Modern Networking for your Home or Business.
From small offices to grade 2 listed homes (see Our Work: Crunwere House), over the last few years we've had a wide range of requests for help with networking and technology!
Hardware
We utilise Ubiquiti hardware for building networks we design. Ubiquiti hardware allows us to bring enterprise features and reliability to sites that would normally find enterprise equipment prohibitively expensive.
In addition to their Software Defined Networking (SDN) hardware, Ubiquiti has product lines that include IP CCTV systems along with in-development products for Building Access Control and Voice over IP (VoIP).
We utilise Ubiquiti Unifi® for SDN hardware, Unifi® Protect for IP CCTV systems, and Unifi® Access for door control.
Network Design
In an ideal world, network infrastructure would have been designed in at the point a home or office was constructed. Unfortunately we don't live in an ideal world, so we've become pretty good at designing around what's there to work with!
Every property is different, so our team can work with you to design a network that does everything you want today, with ample headroom for whatever technology throws at us over the next decade.
Network Installation
Whether we've designed a network from the ground up for you, or you're looking for an upgrade on existing hardware you have, our team can minimise disruption to your daily schedule.
Depending on the type of installation we're doing, in some instances we've been able to build and configure everything, and ship it to a customer premises in a Comms Cabinet ready to connect up.
We can cater to many different requirements, including but not limited to:
- Multiple wireless networks
- VLAN's
- Guest policies
- Limited access networks for children, for example with website, bandwidth and time based access restrictions
- Remote VPN access
Remote Management
While we have some customers who are technology minded and take an active role in the maintenance of their networks, we understand that isn't for everyone.
SDN's regularly receive firmware updates for a number of reasons, whether it's to patch newly discovered security vulnerabilities, or to unlock new features as operating software is developed. Keeping your network up to date is an important part of ensuring your home or business stands the best chance of being protected in an industry where change happens quickly!
Our team can support your installation with as much or as little help as you require. We can remotely perform maintenance tasks for you such as firmware patching, or network reconfiguration if you needed to change things like WiFi access or bandwidth limits.
